We are delighted that our 2026 entry Reverie was awarded 1st Place in the Landscape Victoria Boutique Garden Competition.
Reverie is a contemplative garden designed to explore materiality, movement, and mood. Reverie invites visitors into a space of calm and quiet escape, functioning as a modern watering hole that encourages stillness and restoration.
At the heart of Reverie is a celebration of material versatility. We have utilised recycled slate roof tiles as a walling element to introduce unexpected texture, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and considered design.
The garden show is the perfect place to push the boundary on what’s possible within your garden. A floating lawn that’s not been seen before. Making something that’s more than just a spa wrapped with a lawn. Instead being a sculpture that appears simple yet beautiful while building curiosity and inspiring us to do more with our personal spaces.
Key architectural features include :
• Circular forms: A central spa acts as the focal point, with a surrounding band of lush grass designed to create rhythm and depth.
• Innovative materials: The garden features walls clad in recycled slate shingles and green marble pool coping.
• Artistic expression: A floating fescue lawn and other floating elements add a sense of lightness, transforming the garden into a living canvas.
