Drawing on more than 15 years of practical landscape experience, our designs combine horticultural knowledge with an understanding of how landscapes are realised and evolve over time. From intimate gardens to expansive rural landscapes, we design projects of any size. We work with homeowners, architects and builders to create enduring gardens that are practical, timeless and designed to flourish.
Initial Site Consultation
Our team will meet with you on-site to begin the design process. In this meeting we will discuss with you your brief, stylistic and planting preferences, budget expectations and answer any questions you may have. Meeting with you in person allows us to get an understanding of your existing outdoor space with it’s unique outlook and site conditions. We will also be able to identify any potential site challenges and can offer practical solutions. Consultation fees are $300 + GST.
Concept Design
After meeting with you and confirming your design brief, we will develop a concept package of your design. The concept package might include hand drawn sketches, computer drafted plans, reference imagery, planting palettes and mood boards. Every concept package is tailored to best explain our design intent for your individual project. Once the design is signed off, we can then move to finalise the drawings.
Documentation
Once the concept is signed off we will document the project in detail. We will put together a comprehensive drawing package to capture the design intention for your project. This often includes a master plan, surfaces plan and material schedule, construction details, planting palette, a lighting plan and 3D views if required. This package can be given to landscapers for costing and construction.
Plant Supply and Set Out
At Timeless we believe that plant selection and placement is best done in person and not from behind a computer screen. We prefer for our team to source the best quality plants and place them out on site in person. This ensures the best quality of available stock at the time of planting, site suitability and realisation of design intent.

Yes. We work on projects ranging from compact courtyards to large rural acreages and commercial projects. We view each project as an exciting opportunity to create an interesting garden.
Absolutely. Not every project starts with a blank canvas. We can retain mature trees, established planting or existing landscape features where appropriate, integrating them into a considered new design.
The timeframe depends on the scale and complexity of the project and our current availability. We generally allow 12-16 weeks turnaround for a typical design package however council permits etc can add additional time. We will provide a clear timeline at the beginning of the project and keep you updated regularly throughout.
Where required, we can prepare documentation to assist with planning applications and work alongside consultants, architects and councils throughout the approval process.
